Challenge
To address our customer's requirements, the solution should needed to focus on providing seamless, cloud-based access to the necessary tools and infrastructure for radiologists to perform their tasks efficiently from any location.
Solution
Filltre deployed the following solutions:

1. Cloud-Based PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System):
-
Access Anywhere: Implement a cloud-based PACS that allows radiologists to access medical imaging from any device without locally stored software
-
Security & Compliance: Ensure the solution complies with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA to protect patient data.
2. Web-Based DICOM Viewer:
-
Advanced Viewing Capabilities: Provide radiologists with a web-based DICOM viewer that supports high-resolution images, 3D rendering, and advanced tools for measurement and analysis.
-
Cross-Platform Compatibility: The viewer should be compatible with various devices (PC, tablet, and mobile).
3. Cloud Collaboration & Communication Tools:
-
Telemedicine Integration: Enable seamless teleconsultations by integrating video conferencing and chat tools for discussions with referring physicians or other specialists.
-
Cloud-Based Reporting: Allow radiologists to create, edit, and share reports directly from the cloud, facilitating real-time collaboration.
4. Automated AI Tools for Diagnostics:
-
AI-Powered Assistance: Incorporate AI tools that assist with image interpretation (e.g., detecting anomalies in X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs), helping radiologists make faster and more accurate diagnoses.
-
Customization: Enable radiologists to tailor AI algorithms to their specific needs or medical specialties.
5. Cloud Storage and Backup:
-
Unlimited Cloud Storage: Provide scalable cloud storage solutions to accommodate large medical image files without the need for local servers or hardware.
-
Data Redundancy and Backup: Implement a robust backup system to ensure patient data is securely stored and can be quickly restored if needed.
6. Secure Authentication & User Management:
-
Single Sign-On (SSO): Use SSO or multi-factor authentication to enhance security while simplifying access for radiologists.
-
Role-Based Access Control: Ensure that access to sensitive patient information and tools is restricted based on the user's role.
7. Virtual Workstations:
-
Remote Access to Workstations: Use virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) or cloud-based workstations that provide radiologists with full access to high-performance software without requiring local installation.
-
High-Performance Computing: Ensure virtual workstations are equipped with the necessary resources to handle intensive imaging tasks.
8. Data Integration and Interoperability:
-
Integration with Hospital Systems: Ensure seamless integration with existing EMR/EHR systems, allowing radiologists to access patient histories, orders, and reports without needing to switch between platforms.
9. Continuous Training and Support:
-
User Training: Offer regular training for radiologists to stay up to date with new features, technologies, and best practices.
-
24/7 Support: Provide robust customer support to address technical issues or concerns quickly.
